What was your role in the military?
I was a Direct Air Support Control Officer. The Marine Corps fights as a Marine Air-Ground Task Force, and in my role we integrated aviation assets with the ground scheme of maneuver—providing routing, safety of flight, tasking, and other information to pilots as they fly in support of operations.
